What can I export with IG HashTags Exporter?

You can export Instagram posts from three sources: a hashtag, a public profile (username), or a location page. For each post you get the thumbnail, post URL, like count, comment count, the hashtags used in the caption, and the post date (GMT).

Which file formats are supported?

You can download your results as an Excel (XLSX) file or a CSV file with one click. Both open directly in Excel, Google Sheets, Numbers and most data tools.

How many posts can I export?

The free version exports up to 100 posts per task. Upgrading to Pro removes that limit so you can export much larger datasets in a single run.

Do I need to keep the browser open while it works?

Yes. Keep the browser open and the export tab active while a task runs. If your computer goes to sleep or you close the tab, scraping will stop.

Why does it export fewer posts than the hashtag or profile shows?

Instagram limits how many posts can be retrieved for a hashtag, profile or location, so the extension can only collect a portion of them. Getting fewer posts than the total count is expected.

Is it safe for my Instagram account?

The extension paces requests with a randomized delay (around 8–12 seconds) to stay gentle on Instagram. To stay safe, keep export volumes reasonable and avoid running several scraping tools at the same time.

Why did scraping stop with an "Error" status?

This almost always means Instagram has temporarily rate-limited your account for too much activity. Pause for a while, then use the Retry button to resume. Exporting less at a time helps avoid it.
