Frequently asked questions

Which Instagram sources can I extract emails from?

Six of them: an account's followers or following list, the likers or commenters on any post, posts from a specific location, and posts under any hashtag.

What information is exported for each user?

Username, profile link, email, phone, follower / following / post counts, city and bio. Emails and phone numbers come from the public contact details that creators and businesses add to their Instagram profiles.

Why don't all users have an email or phone number?

Only accounts that have made their contact details public — usually business and creator accounts — expose an email or phone. Personal accounts without public contact info appear without one, which is expected.

What export formats are supported?

Export to XLSX or CSV. You can download the full dataset, or one-click filtered lists containing only the rows with emails or only the rows with phone numbers.

Is there a free plan, and what are its limits?

Yes. The free plan lets you export up to 30 emails, plus a few bonus exports for leaving a review. Upgrade to Pro for unlimited email exports.

Do I need to keep the browser open while it runs?

Yes. Keep the tab open and your computer awake while a task runs. If the browser closes or the machine sleeps the task pauses — but your progress is saved, so you can resume later.

Why is it slower than expected, and can I speed it up?

To protect your account, requests run at randomized intervals that you can adjust from 4 to 14 seconds in Settings. A slower pace is safer, and Instagram may also throttle activity that looks automated.

Why does it collect fewer contacts than the total followers or likes?

Instagram limits how many users can be retrieved from a list, so only a portion can be collected. Gathering fewer contacts than the displayed total is normal.
